    keyword=Shift Summary

    1600: Shift starts w/ no beam (beam study continues).
    1618: Beam in the hall
    16:19- stopped the cosmic run 1479 and started the production run 1480.

    16:30- MCC BCM shows 80 uA but Hall A BCM shows 133 uA.
    16:48- As per the instruction of Arun Saha (Run Coordinator) I changed the BCM cavity coefficients of upstream (76.7) and downstram (78.9) to 45.218 and 45.532 respectively by looking at the "start of run halog entry" of couple of previous runs of identical conditions. Now we see the Hall A BCM showing the same current as of MCC BCM.

    First few thousands events of the run 1480 had 35uA current.

    18:17- run 1481 started
    19:57- run 1481 stopped due to Makis's suggestions to take data on dummy target.

    20:06- run 1482, a short (10 min) run and changed prescal factors (ps1=100, ps2 = 12000, ps3=2 and others unchanged).

    20:19- run 1483 started

    21:10- Jack Segal found that right arm IOC was hung up (we did not see any symptoms though, no alarm either, thanks Jack!). No clue when did it happen. Rebooted through the web, it came back. It looks like we just lost the readback control only leaving the magnets surviving since we can see the right hrs singles while analyzing the run.

    21:47- run 1483 stopped (right hrs came back)
    21:47- run 1484 started
    22:14- MCC called that they have RF problem, beam stops, ended run 1484. Time estimate is about half an hour.

    23:03- MCC called it is restoring beam now.
    23:15- No beam yet.
    23:31- MCC again called it is restoring CW beam shortly. It really cam back.
    23:32- run 1485 started.
