Right Dipole Probe 0” 10” ]……...]
The left dipole probe active length is 24”. The overall length is 50.5”. The left dipole probe is submerged 5 inches deeper into the cryostat than the right probe. Therefore the usable length of the probe installed in the left dipole is from inch 5 to inch 15.
The liquid level meter must be programmed with a length of 24” so it can accurately compute the resistance on the probe, so we will have to compensate either in software, or in control points. Below are the control points and level conversions.
100% full = 62.5 % read back on liquid level meter 90% full = 58.35% read back on liquid level meter 80% full = 54.2% read back on liquid level meter 70% full = 50.5% read back on liquid level meter 60% full = 45.9% read back on liquid level meter 50% full = 41.75% read back on liquid level meter 40% full = 37.6% read back on liquid level meter 30% full = 33.45% read back on liquid level meter 20% full = 29.3% read back on liquid level meter 10% full = 25.15% read back on liquid level meter 0% full = 21% read back on liquid level meter
The trip point for the left Dipole will be set at 33.5% The center control point should be approximately 50%
