    keyword=The Beam hits the frame

    When using the carbon target the beam hits the frame. From the entry below you can see the enanhcement of the counts when the Y target position is less than 0.003 (left spectrum). The events with Y target position less than 0.003 are not generated by electroscattering on Carbon as you can see in the right spectrum (a plot of the Missing energy). In this spectrum the black line refers to events whose Y target position is bigger than 0.003, the red line refers vice versa to events whose Y target position is less than 0.003. You can see that, in this spectrum, while the black line shows the Carbon peak, the read line does not. This is very likely due to the fact that the region with Y target less than 0.003 is occupied by the frame and not by the target.
