I'm still wondering about the raster pattern that we see. I could trace down the change between runs 1836 and 1837. Something must have happened there. There was an access between runs 1835 and 1836, but 1836 still seems to be fine. I ran spot again with full run statistics. The result is shown for runs 1836, 1837, and 1838 in Fig. 1. Something happened during run 1837, on 3/22/07 22:11 - 22:28.
Fig. 2 is the projection on raster 2.
