    keyword=Cavity Update

    During the controlled access, I checked into the problems with the
    cavity monitor signals, since John Musson reinstalled the receiver
    boards. I saw that the output signal from the monitors was +4.0V,
    which was easily saturating the ADCs. Last week, I had adjusted the
    op-amps for a +1.5 V signal.

    The four channels that only had a pedestal had a positive output from
    the op-amps. The upstream X and Y positions signals were slightly
    negative, which is why they actually showed a signal. First I
    adjusted the op-amps to output a -52 mV signal. After looking at
    the ADC from run 3375, I decided to adjust the output to -59 mV to
    leave room for larger raster sizes.

    Figure 1 and 2 show the ADC signals from the cavity intensity and
    positions signals respectively. It will be interesting to see
    the effect of the beam now.
