Figure 1 displays the cavity intensity signal for runs 3394 (5 uA) and
3397 (50 uA). Unfortunately, I still see a negative correlation
between ADC channel and higher current. The symptom suggests that at
higher currents, the output signal from the cavities is a larger
positive voltage greater than 4.0 V. This results in a smaller
negative signal from the op-amps, and hence the signal shows up at
smaller ADC channel. I was expecting a larger cavity signal would
have resulted in a larger negative signal from the op-amps.
I think the reason the HAPPEX DAQ doesn't see this is that it requires
a positive voltage. Hence a larger signal is reflected in a higher
ADC channel.
