adaql3, on the other hand, is a true 2-CPU machine which also has a superior chipset and disk system. Likewise for adaql1 and adaql2.
If you need extra CPU power, consider using adaql10 (dual Opteron) for replay as well. Do not compile code on this machine, however, because it is a 64-bit system running RHEL4. It is backward compatible to 32-bit/RHEL3.
adaql8 is an older machine with 2 physical CPUs, however only 1 GHz
Pentium 3s. Do not use it for analysis but rather for other shift business.
