    keyword=adaql5 is 1 core only

    A previous log entry stated that adaql5 has 2 physical CPU cores. I'll have to disappoint you and point out that adaql5 also has only a single physical CPU core. The machines adaql4-adaq7 are identical models with a single P4 processor. I admit that their performance is disappointing in several ways, including running multiple jobs.

    adaql3, on the other hand, is a true 2-CPU machine which also has a superior chipset and disk system. Likewise for adaql1 and adaql2.

    If you need extra CPU power, consider using adaql10 (dual Opteron) for replay as well. Do not compile code on this machine, however, because it is a 64-bit system running RHEL4. It is backward compatible to 32-bit/RHEL3.

    adaql8 is an older machine with 2 physical CPUs, however only 1 GHz Pentium 3s. Do not use it for analysis but rather for other shift business.
