keyword=MCC called about energy drift problemMCC (Tim Southern) called about the energy drift. He said they are completely lost as to the cause of this drift and that it's going to take a lot of heads to figure it out. He said this sort of drift occurred about a week ago...it went up and then came back down...and they don't know why. He said they can't lock with the Hall A energy because that causes instability in Hall C's energy. He indicated that, at this point, all they can do is watch it and hope it starts coming back down.
Currently, we have experienced a 100keV increase in the last 6-8 hours (see attachment 1).
