    Entry number 233346

keyword=EPICS Part II and Energy variables.

R-HRS run number 20698 started before I fixed the EPICS IP address
problem. The first R-HRS run number with valid variables in the
datastream is 20699, which started at 00:18 this morning. So the gap
period begins sometime on Friday evening at 21:24 and ends this morning
at 00:18, since we have the EPICS information in the R-HRS CODA files.

Using the Bob's recommendation to check the raw data files, I found that
the variables are properly recorded in run 20693. The problem seems to
have started in the end-of-run script for this run.

This is a major concern with the energy drifting, since we thought we had
the energy variables saved in the raw data files. I have done a data
dump of the energy strip chart on hacsbc2 into a file named:
'energy_mont_20042008.dat'. The information in this file starts from
    04/18/2008 18:14:23 and continues until 04/19/2008 10:14:08. This file
contains the date, time stamp, Hall C energy, Hall A energy, Hall A
current and Hall A dpp variables. We can use this file to correlate the
energy drifts during the production running since Friday evening. I will
copy this file to the MSS directory for E04-007 experiment.
