I actually had to swap twice, because the first one I tried had more errors from unused chips than the original.
The one in there now was at first reporting errors from chip 5... but they "appeared" to go away after I temporarily terminated the input (ribbon) to that chip (indirect).... and power cycled the crate.
We're not using chip 5, in slot 8. So... if we continue to get
error/warning messages from it, I will disable the output message (for
just that chip in that slot).
