    Controlled Access activity

It is a little unclear, but I think the underlying problem was that the Hall A networks lost some/all network access to the outside. For example attempts to check DNS resolution using 'host ' regularly failed on the tech computer. The GUI for bblinux2 was unresponsive (which can happen when NFS stalls). I also power-cycled the BB DAQ network switches at the BB desk and weldment at around the same time.

Guy Ron power cycled the network switches in the middle room of the counting house and things seemed to improve after that.

Many systems seemed to be left in an unresponsive state. Rebooting the rocs seemed to clear the remaining communication errors.

    Other actions:
    - bblinux2.jlab.org was rebooted.
    - BB MWDC gas flow was tweaked up. Hopefully it will start bubbling through again in an hour or two.
    - Swapped the filter on channels 0--15 of the BB Cerenkov with the "JLab" capacitive coupler model.
    - Put BB Cerenkov PMT 9 (E09-R) on the networked scope bbspare1 for observation.
