keyword=Very slight downward bow to optics target -- Holey C, BeO center BPM values may change(?)
JP observed a very slight bowing of the optic foil target. Earlier in
the day he was sure it was bowing up in the middle. An upward bow would
be consistent with the small vertical centering discrepancy between the
BeO target and the holey carbon.
When we went down in the evening to take a photo we found it was bowing
very slightly down in the middle (see gap between ruler and optics bed at
right). Perhaps the target frame shifted a little (due to jostling
during target work)?
Probably nothing to worry about given the small shift, but it will be
interesting to see if the BeO and Holey C beam centroid positions changed
at all.
