    Owl Shift Summary
    -----------------

12:00AM Shift started while the hall is still in controlled access for the target optics work.

02:50am Finished the target optics work in the hall.

02:55am Moved the target to the Optics (BeO) position and asked MCC for a 2 uA Beam (Raster Off).

03:10am Threshold for BB is set to -80mV for T1 and T6.

03:25am Moving the target to the Optics Hole Position.

03:28am Asked MCC for a 5 uA rastered beam (4x4 MCC units).

03:50am Moved the target to the Optics position

04:16am Changed the beam to Raster off.

04:40am Cannot fill the reference cell with H2. Paged the run coordinator and he recomended to page JP. JP will come to check it.

05:10am Paged the run coordinator again because ROCS 8,9,10 cannot be rebooted remotely.

05:15am Called MCC to ask for an escorted controlled access. JP is here and will check the H2 gas problem. Also we will try to reboot ROCS 8,9,10.

5:52am JP found that the H2 valve was closed. Now we can fill the reference cell.

05:55am Moved the target to the reference cell with H2 at 100 psig.

06:10am Beam is back at 5 uA, 4x4 MCC raster. Taking 30 minute runs to the end of the shift

07:15am BB DC HV is tripping every few minutes due to the beam current fluctuations.

07:20am Took the beam briefly to check the BB DC HV problem and then lowered the current to 3 uA

07:28am Lowered the beam current again to 1 uA to try to avoid the BB DC HV tripping.

    08:00am Shift ends.
