4 PM: Run plan #6 setting, 3He longitudinal polairzation,
p_left = 1.21269 GeV/c. At start of shift, had taken 2.7 M
events in runs 2710-2712. We have ~4 uA of beam with nominal 4x4
raster. Goal is 16 M event sin this setting. Moller measurement
planned for 7 PM.
run 2713, start 16:00, stop 16:34, 1.6 M events, Total = 4.3 M
run 2714, start 16:34, stop 17:12, 1.8 M events, Total = 6.1 M
Determine that our goal should be 13 M events rather than 16 M.
run 2715, start 17:23, stop 17:46, 1.7 M events, Total = 7.7 M
run 2716, start 17:47, stop 18:01, 0.7 M events, Total = 8.4 M
NMR polarization measurement indicate P ~ 31%.
run 2717, start 18:15, stop 18:46, 1.3 M events, Total = 9.7 M
run 2718, start 18:47, stop 18:57, 0.5 M events, Total = 10.2 M
NMR measurement gives P ~ 28%.
~7:02 Eugene is starting Moller setup.
11:00 returning to non-Moller.
Beam back at 11:15. Position far off, and resteering is needed.
It appears the quad-center / Moller beam position and the
target centered positions are several mm off.
11:45: IOC controlling magnets into hall crashed. Needs to be recovered and magnets cycled. No more beam this shift.
