keyword=Suggestions on target spin flip while moving target
Moving the target to location other than production position (3He) will
introduce inaccurate NMR measurements and larger AFP loss due to field
gradient. This will bring trouble to interpolate polarization for the
production data in between the target movements.
(see picture taken by Chiranjib, target was moved to optics from 26 to 30)
So I suggest to do a manual flip (NMR measurement) every time before we
move target from production and do another one after we move target back
to production before taking data.
I also suggest to pause the automatic flip while target is in other
places to reduce AFP loss.
