    keyword=re: coinc. timing

    Not sure if this helps, but with the 2 HRS we found it helps reduce confusion if the
    start of the TDC comes from the retiming of one HRS and the stop from the other HRS.
    (This is done on both HRS). So you basically need a scintillator start/stop where the
    scintillator is the "or" of scintillators on the two arms. This causes less confusion.

    It's good to have all the triggers plugged into TDCs, both hi-res and multihit TDCs,
    but at least to have the measurement mentioned above with 2 RTs.

    If you have marginal retiming on L-HRS, then the TDC gates are not necessarily tied to
    the retiming but follows the L1A, and the picture gets confused.

    This might help
    http://hallaweb.jlab.org/equipment/daq/trigger_coinc.html
    and see the link to "ctime.ps" there (it describes the measurement method for coinc.
    time and some glitch features, but this is for 2-HRS running).
