1. The cut on the shower is only valid to the events in the coincident peak. 2. That the coincidence peak goes away with pion cut on shower means only electron can trigger the gas Cherenkov right now with all other cuts. 3. The shape in ADC spectrum is consistent with real electron events rather than radiation background to me. And I think the reason why the background peak (Green) of ADC channel 1 to 10 is similar to coincident events (Red) is because they are all from electron and again the shower cut is only valid for accidental events. 4. I suggest to play the "events in coincident window"-"events in background window" trick plus the shower cut to clearly see the ADC distribution of the electron and other particle.
