    keyword=Some preliminary lumi anaylsis

    I've been working on some analysis of the Lumi data that is inserted into the transversity DAQ.

    Below are results of both target spin asymmetry, as well as beam helicity asymmetry. Fresh off the press, so subject to change, I suppose...

    I've only had a chance to replay 1 run using the 'helicity' routine, but it seems to look good. More updates to come, as I get more runs replayed.

    One last note - I would claim that the asymmetries normalized to BCMx10 are just a bit more reliable, as BCMu3 has been a bit weird lately.

    Returned from Target Analysis Code:

    Reading data file. This could take a few moments...
    Making asymmetry from 8 runs.
    Total Target'+' counts = 277812
    Total Target'-' counts = 261742

    Number of Target-UP sessions = 7.717
    Number of Target-DOWN sessions = 7.27061

    NOTE: a 'session' is a 20 minute period of target UP or DOWN.

    Asymmetry = 0.000450256 +/- 0.000450053 (normalized by BCM3)

    Asymmetry = 0.000331822 +/- 0.000331712 (normalized by BCM10)

    Average Asymmetry = 0.000391039

    Helicity Asymmetry:

    Reading data file. This could take a few moments...
    Making asymmetry from 1 runs.
    Total Helicity'+' counts = 35241
    Total Helicity'-' counts = 35241

    Number of Helicity '+' sessions = 1174.7
    Number of Helicity '-' sessions = 1174.7
    NOTE: a session of helicity is a 30msec time window.

    Asymmetry = 1.79986e-05 +/- 1.79983e-05 (normalized by BCM3)

    Asymmetry = 1.06459e-05 +/- 1.06458e-05 (normalized by BCM10)

    Average Asymmetry = 1.43223e-05
