Moller results on Nov 28 12:50-14:40
- The beam tune took 2h. The main problem was tripping the EP ion
chamber. The beam strongly zig-zagged in Y (see
entry
251185).
- The energy lock on Hall C, pulsed, was used. At 0.44 µA in
Hall A the "HALLA:p" energy measurement is not very reliable and
depends on the beam current (see the strip chart). On the other
hand, the ARC-2 measurement "ARC2:p" is stable. The regular value
of "HALLA:p" obtained at higher current with the Hall A energy lock
is 5892 MeV.
- The difference with the previous measurements (about 74%) comes from the
beam energy difference.
Preliminary results: not corrected for
variations along the targets
