keyword=Compton Spectrum HV ScanLast night, Gregg and I used the new FADC to study the GSO Compton spectrum at several high voltages. These graphs show the location of the Compton edge as a function of the high voltage on the PMT.
Fig. 1 shows the Compton edge measured in terms of pulse amplitude (in raw ADC units, or rau).
Fig. 2 shows the Compton edge measured in terms of pulse integral (in raw
ADC unit - samples, or rau-s).
