keyword=Deviation of the dipole direction from the compass mirror normal direction

We measured the deviation of the compass magnet dipole from the mirror
normal direction by rotating the magnet by 180 degrees about it geometric
axis. The deviations of the laser refelection measured at 2.722 meters
    away are the following:
Horizontal deviation: 12.5 mm to the left
Vertical deviation: 284 mm to the ground
Therefore, the angle from the magnet dipole to the mirror normal
    direction is:
Horizontal: 0.066 degrees to the right
Vertical: 1.489 degrees to the sky
