    keyword=Left Q3 current instability

    We worked on the Left Q3 during the access earlier today. Unfortunately, when we ramped down the magnet it came back up very stable. We ramped it down, switched to LOCAL, and it was stable after that. The problem had some character that makes me think a dirty contact might be the culprit. Most likely along the remote current set lines inside the power supply. We blew some cleaner across some of the contacts and visually inspected what we could. It seems more stable at the moment. Time will tell.
