keyword=Compton asymmetry measurementAlex and I got a Compton asymmetry measurement from this afternoon's running. Looks like a bit over 6% (Fig. 1), which yields a (very, very roughly estimated) beam polarization of 80%.
If we are willing to extrapolate from this one data point, it looks as though today's beam has recovered the polarization that was lost over the weekend.
It will be interesting to see tonight's Moller results.
