This morning at the 7:45 meeting, MCC informed us that they continue to have troubles with 1L04 vacuum. It was discovered that there was a more serious vacuum leak into that cryomodule allowing air and moisture into the system. They are working hard pumping on it to get it back to a state where beam can be put through it. They also believe there may be additional vacuum contamination to surrounding cryomodules when some valves were opened last night.
It is expected that beam could be restored as early as end of
day/swing shift Tuesday. We should have a better idea regarding the
status later this afteroon.
