    keyword=Sync roc detachment is an artifact

    Fig. 1 shows the apparent detachment, especially in the syncroc signals for 5 vs 12 and 8 vs 12.

    When the same histograms are plotted as a scatter plot (Fig. 2), it is apparent that there are no gaps. The L1A looks good as well.

    It looks to me as though the apparent "pinch" in the syncroc plot is an artifact of the color plotting, and is misleading. I'm going to change the online plots for the syncroc check back to scatter plots so that the features of the plots will be more intuitive. If there's a reason they were switched to color in the first place, let me know.
