EVENTS



23:55	 We have noticed that Compton Coda was not counting events 

         and that the Heart beat and the Photon counting rate were 

         also not changing. We discovered that the ROC1 and ROC2 

         crashed. We rebooted coda and started new run #16767. Now 

         Compton seems to be working properly again. Because of 

         these problems is run #16766 JUNK!



00:00    The shift has begun quietly. We are taking production 

		 data with 10uA beam on polarized 3He target 

		 (current polarization is 61.3 %)

06:10    Started a new Compton Run #16770



06:30    At we had some problems with the DAQ. The Dead time for 

         the left arm was 100% and the LEFT Coda wasn't counting. 

         We have killed both codas. We have checked if ROCs are 

         alive. They were. The only problem that we encountered was 

         with TS0. The connection with it was lost. The message was

         saying that the connection was closed by a foreign host. We 

         were trying to connect back to it but our connection was 

         REFUSED. In spite of that, we started both codas again. 

         While we were configuring the left arm, the error messages 

         in the status windows start to appear that ROC9 and ROC10 

         did not report status form more than N seconds. When we 

         opened the ROC windows again in order to reboot them, we 

         realized, that they are already rebooting. Therefore we 

         waited until this process finished, and in the end checked 

         if ROCs respond. Then we restarted left Coda again and 

         started new runs: #1756 and #20662. Now everything looks 

         normal again. The dead times are 6% and 12% and rates are

         700 and 500 events/s



         These problems appeared just after we started runs #1755 

         and #20661,therefore are these two runs JUNK!
