    keyword=BCM Filter 5V Supply Changed

    I went to the Hall and carefully looked at the BCM system. The MCC BCM and the Hall A BCM are just a split of the same signal, so since MCC signal were fine, everything was good to that point. The Hall A signals are handled by two seperate down converters; so was unlikely that they both were dying together. The only thing different the filters in the Hall A line that isn't in the MCC line. (These are for getting better low current readings).

    I looked at the 5V supply and then went to see how the HRS work was going. When I got back, the voltage had changed; indicated this DC supply was going bad. I went over to the BigBite area and took a DC supply from the self and plugged it into the Hall A BCM system.

    IF we still have a problem. I can remove the filters completely and go back to the way we run prior to the 2006 experiments.
