keyword=Another check on RHRS dead time
To check the dead time of RHRS for 2-pass run, we took 2 short RHRS runs.
Here is the result:
Run 20897, I = 5 uA, 150K events, ps1=1, ps8=100, others=infinite
1) Number of L1A's that were T1's: 149578
2) Number of unprescaled T1's (scalers): 189611
3) Number of T1's from 1877: 156326
4) Number of T1's first hit from 1877: 149578
5) Number of T1's multi-hits from 1877: 6748
Here 1) and 4) match each other. multi-hits is around 4.5%. So the final
dead time is ( datamon deadtime - 4.5% ).
Run 20898, I = 5.5 uA, 150K events, ps1=1, ps8=100, others=infinite
1) Number of L1A's that were T1's: 148984
2) Number of unprescaled T1's (scalers): 193390
3) Number of T1's from 1877: 155871
4) Number of T1's first hit from 1877: 148985
5) Number of T1's multi-hits from 1877: 6831
Similar results to run 20897, multi-hits is around 4.4%.
Run 20899, I = 5.5 uA(???), 147K events, ps1=1, pa2=10, ps8=100,
others=infinite
1) Number of L1A's that were T1's: 145378
2) Number of unprescaled T1's (scalers): 186406
3) Number of T1's from 1877: 151878
4) Number of T1's first hit from 1877: 145379
5) Number of T1's multi-hits from 1877: 6499
Similar results to run 20898, multi-hits is around 4.4%.
6) Number of L1A's that were T2's: 568
7) Number of unprescaled T2's (scalers): 10483
T2 rate is 5% of T1 rate and ps2=10, I am not sure, but it seems that T2
may lead to additional 1% dead time for 2-pass running.
