    keyword=ROC 8 BUSY Working Now

    I went up to the R-HRS hut with Bo and Ed Jastrzembski to check the
    problem with the ROC 8 busy signal. As it turns out, everything is working
    fine now. It seems that Bryan's changes to the delays for the neutron
    detector changed the ROC 8 busy signal. It is now comparable to the
    ROC 1 and 2 signals as being only 11-12 microseconds long.

    With Ed, we performed a few diagnostic tests on the busy signals. The
    signal levels and polarities look normal. The TS is now happy with the
    ROC 8 busy.

    Ed is having a new twisted-pair to TwinAx cable made for us. It should
    be ready this afternoon.

    I suspect that there was something wrong with the ROC 8 busy signal, but
    I am not sure what the exact problem was. I am pretty confident that
    the problem was not in the TM module, since it seemed to be gathering the
    busies and forming the "or" of busies correctly.

    We still need to verify that the buffering mode is working correctly for
    the right HRS.
