keyword=Summary of Threshold ChangeWhile looking at the event display, we found quite a few partial tracks with no proton in the dE/E plane. To reduce this noise, we increase the front and back chambers to 5.5V thresholds from 4.5 and 5V. This made the average number of wires per event go down, but every wire for protons is still firing.
In the figure you can see all 12 proton track related wires have a hit. Note the tracking code does not yet use the dE/E plane information, so the fact the good track is pointing to the correct plane is a nice indication of how well the code works.
