keyword=Temperature Change in the HallThe 3He NMR Frequency was drifing to the lower end since yesterday, so I took a look of the history of the currents of holding filed coils and the cell temperature. In the strip chart I attached, red and green curves are the holding field currents, and the blue curve is the temperature readings from the center of the target chamber. Clearly, at about 9:40 yesterday, something got changed and the temperature in the Hall eventaually increased. As a result, the coil currents changed by about 1% and the cell temperature increased by about 5 degrees. Maybe the AC is accidentally OFF?
