keyword=HAPPEX DAQ: changes...First up... I changed the default window manager for the vncserver from twm to mwm. Mostly so that windows are automatically placed without needing a mouse click. It's still a pretty generic window manager... you'll love it.
Second.. I added an ERROR GUI (shown below) that will pop up, if the HAPPEX DAQ attempts to write over the previous run. If you see this... you should be alarmed. If the shift worker follows the instructions, everything will be ok.
