Owl shift summary: Miha Mihovilovic (SL), Eric Jensen (3rd)
    ===================================================================

    EVENTS

00:00 Shift has started smoothly. We are taking production data
on 3He target. Target polarization at the moment is 58.6%
The runs that are currently running are 2833/21733.
We are still haviong some problems that can not be resolved
until the morning: The HV controls for the HRS-R spectrometer
and LUMI are not working. The last SL said that we can live
with that and that problem will be solved in the morning.
LUMI is saturated but this also can wait until the morning.

01:00 I have started new Compton run #17046. When I tried to end
the previous one, I got message that the end of run failed.
I have also noticed warning message saying: "ROC1 has not
reported status for xxx s". I decided to use the "coda
reboot" command. The rocs came up normally. After that I
restarted the Coda, using the PROD_FA configuration. Now it
seems to be working normally again.

01:34 We have noticed (unfortunately very late) an error message
in the left DAQ, saying "ROC5 did not report status for xxx
sec". The dead time in the Datamon was also 100% and left
coda was not counting events. Right Coda seemed to be working
    normally.

We have killed the Left Coda and rebooted ROC 5. After the
successful reboot, we restarted coda and started new run. So
far it seem that it is working again. Dead times are 5% (left)
and 12% (right). Coda integrated rates are 2.5k ev/sec (LEFT)
    and 1.8k ev/sec (RIGHT)

    Problem happend during runs #2834 / #21734

01:50 The HallA alarm started beeping saying that there is a
problem with LeCroy HV (MF2alarm). We checked the HV gui for
the left arm and Beam line. In the left arm everything was
green. For the beamline the title was red but all the channels
were green. We didn't know where the problem was. I called
Alexandre and he told me to check Compton HV in more detail.
The problem was indeed there : channel 1 in slot 11 tripped.
We turned the HV back on and the alarm went away.

We have tried to figure out what caused the trip and when we
checked the beam strip charts we saw that at that point beam
position changed dramaticaly. We believe that this was the
    reason.

02:41 Did NMR frequency sweep. new polarization is 57.77%

02:48 Jin called and told us that he will to (remotely) some
    labmda/4 plate calibration.

03:05 Jin called and asked me to do next NMR at 7:30am

03:18 Started new Happex run #31433

    03:32 New Compton run #17048

03:50 Finished with calibration of the reference cell pressure
gauges. I have vented and vacumed target 2times and in each
state wrote down the numbers on the gauges. In the end I put
again 10psig of N2 into the reference cell.

05:30 I have started new compton run #17049. Before I was able
to do that, I had to reset Coda, because previous run did
    not end poperly.

05:41 MCC called and told us that they need to do some test and
will therefore take our beam away for few minutes.

05:55 We got beam back. Beam was away for 10min.

06:53 MCC called and said that they will take beam away for
few minutes, because they need to do some beam studies.

    06:59 Beam is back

07:37 Started new Compton run #17050.

07:43 The Hall A Alarm started beeping again. We had another Compton
HV trip. We have turned off and on the tripped channel 1 in
slot 11. Now things seem to be normal again.

07:44 Started new HAPPEX run #31434.

07:50 We made another NMR frequency sweep. The polarization is
58.5%. The polarization increased from 57.8%, after Jin
adjusted the quarter wave plate. Bravo Jin!
