Here is a list of things we did during the owl shift:
1. Harp scan, the beam size is
BPMA 278 x 62 um
BPMB 310 x 150 um
2. spot ++ on carbon holey target @ 5 uA(# 24692, 24693), centered the
beam at
BPMA -0.2 0.8
BPMB -0.8 2.1
raster size 11x8.5(MCC) - 6x4.5 mm at the target
3. spot ++ on LH2 target @ 5 uA (# 24694, 24695), same BPM positions and
beam raster size.
4. run # 12238: left the unser in adc22_1 (could not find any other adc
with higher gain). ramped up/down between 70-100 uA. and also sat for ~ 2
minutes @ 90,80,70,50 @ 30 uA. NOTE: BPM FFB was on autogain for this.
4. run # 12240: BPM FFB on manual gain. took ~ 12000 good pairs @ 100,
80, 60 and 40 uA. Changed the lobeamcut to 5000 for this run. Saved the
target parameters from this run in hacuser/StripTool/Happex3/
Only the target parameters from 3:23 am apply for this run, this was when
we started the run.
I have not really looked at the data carefully. The spot++ results seem
to suggest that the beam is fine, and is not scraping off the walls of
the target. The boiling width at 100 uA are still high, ~ 1400/1500. I
will look at the data carefully after I get some sleep. The target data
folder has the actual data points of some of the target parameters that
we could use to recreate the target stripcharts.
