A CODA "cold" restart won't stop the dithering process, but the script runs on the counting house parity DAQ crate. Rebooting the parity daq crate (ROC 23, halladaq6, hatsv9 2004) will kill the bmw process and require dithering to be restarted via the green monster utility.
Incidentally, it would be nice to stop dithering (via greenmonster) before rebooting halladaq6, just to avoid the possibility of interrupting a dither cycle and leaving fast-feedback in a "paused" state.
