Tuesday, Oct. 13 (Swing)
- Swing shift began with Moller measurement in progress.
- 19:00 Moller completed with 88.9 +/- 2%.
- 19:15 Beam back and begin beam profile check.
- 19:46 Resumed production running at 100 uA.
- 21:47 Coda rebooted due to ROC 25 not responding.
- 22:24 IHWP retracted and slug # 23 began.
Wednesday, Oct. 14, (Owl and Day)
- Very smooth data taking on owl shift with a couple Compton DAQ
crashes.
- 09:35 Parity DAQ restarted due to online software not updating.
- 10:10-11:40 Vacuum valve 8A03 closed and will not open.
- 12:28-13:01 Orbit clean up.
- 13:01 Beam finally restored to Hall A.
- 14:56-15:08 Beam off for target IOC reboot.
- 15:27 Beam off for Injector bunchlength measurement and
harp scans.
Coulombs So Far
- We are currently on slug # 23 (IHWP OUT)
- Coulombs taken in this time period (since Tuesday 04:00 to
13:00): 1.2 C
- Coulombs taken in all so far: 132.0 C as of Tuesday 13:00.
Concerns
- Please always check online hists and compare them to the
reference ones.
- If you find something strange or wrong, please HALOG it so
that the expert can check it.
- Target Operator, please always check target PID system and
strip plots to make sure all the systems work.
The cryo flow rate around 25.2g/s and JT value is around
55.5 since this is better for Lumi widths.
The flow rate and JT value setting are sensitive to the outside
temperature. Hence the
settings may change from morning to evening.
Please be patient when you adjust the JT value since it
may take a few minutes to make the cryo flow rate stable.
