    Details

Shift begins with production runs HAPPEX run 13329 and Compton run 20444 in progress.

    00:23---Start new HAPPEX Run, 13330.

    00:45---Start new Compton Run, 20445.

01:10---Compton rate had flatlined for the last few minutes of run 20445. Stop run 20445 (~224k events). Start Compton run 20446.

    01:20---Start new HAPPEX run, 13331.

01:21---Compton rate had flatlined in run 20446. Try to stop the run; END RUN doesn't take. Do "coda reboot". Start Compton run 20447.

01:42---Compton DAQ lost communication with ROC5. Do "coda reboot". Start Compton run 20448.

    02:17---Start new HAPPEX run, 13332.

02:34---HAPPEX CODA was locked up since the start of run 13332 (no useful data were taken). HAPPEX DAQ reboot. Start new HAPPEX run, 13333.

Note that the reboot seems to have restored the CH scaler.

02:50---Noticed that Hall A FFB control shows "Gain Fail"; called MCC and they did a gain search.

    03:30---Start new HAPPEX run, 13334.

03:34---Take a Right Arm run (4686) to run spot++. We can't communicate with or log into the Left Arm TS, so we can't reboot it or take a left arm run.

03:38---Start Compton run 20449. Run 20448 had stopped automatically two minutes earlier.

04:22---Compton RATE_G flatlines. We try "coda reboot" but doesn't work. We realize that none of the EPICS variables are accessable. We try to reach Megan or Alex. We get instructions on resetting the photon detector after rebooting EPICS.

04:51---Beam goes off; OPS reports they're having trouble with the RF in NL04, may be while longer.

05:18---While beam is down, we RETRACT the IHWP, and run "flipper".

05:15---Compton EPICS has been rebooted, and phton detector moved into position. See HALog 295302 for details.

05:40---While the beam is off due to trouble with NL04, Rupesh is taking a detector linearity run.

05:50---MCC calls to say they're ready to send beam, but we need a few more minutes to finish the detector linearity test.

05:57---Linearity test is complete. Request 5uA of beam to check positions. Take R-HRS run 4687 to chack spot++.

    06:00---Positions and spot++ look okay. Request 98uA.

    Start HAPPEX run 13338.

06:04---Start Compton run 20454. Background level of RATE_G is about 60, signal level is about 600. Looks okay for now; D.Wang will monitor for a while from the back.

06:57---We ask for a beam current of 50 uA so that Rupesh can run a beam-on detector linearity test run. HAPPEX run 13339 is the beam-on linearity run.

We forget to ask for the FFB "gain search" to be done for the first few minutes. The BPM12 signals were still in range.

07:14---Request 98 uA and resume produciton running. Start HAPPEX run 13340.

07:30---The Compton photon detector HV tripped. Ended Compton run 20454. Run did not end cleanly. Reset CODA. Reset the HV channel. Start Compton run 20455.
