keyword=Status of the spectrometer magnetsThe level meter at the right dipole was stuck at 57% opening, and was messing up the entire feed back system. The dipole lHe reservoir was completely filled, and a power cycle of the level meter was necessary. Because that magnet was drawing lots of cryogen, it threw the other magnets off too (and we can be lucky that nothing worse happened). We ramped down the other magnets in a frenzy to prevent them from tripping when the level meter is back to normal.
Also, there is clearly something wrong with the right arm flow meter, reading 600 l/m, as indicated in an earlier entry by Alex. Ed Folts suspects that they might have been radiation damaged.
