keyword=Right hrs Gas-cerIn order to troubleshoot the wide pedestal of ch2 and ch6 of right HRS gas-cerenkov, Bogdan suggested to swap the signal cables of the PMTs related to these channels to other problem-free chanels, run DAQ, analyze data and see if the problem goes to other channels too.
I did the following:
I moved the signal cables of PMT#3 to PMT#5 and that of PMT#7 (histogram titled "Right arm Gas Cherenkov 6" to look for the change in the folowing figure) to PMT#9 (histogram titled "Right arm gas Cherenkov 8" to look for the change in the folowing figure). Though the events analyzed is only a few (33k events), I can see there is no problem in PMT#3 (now the PMT#5) but the histogram titled "Right arm Gas Cherenkov 6" stays like before the swapping of cables.
Looks like the problem is not related to the quality of PMT, but somewhere else.
