keyword=Weird VDC TDC Spectra with Beam
There seems to be a trigger problem on the left HRS. Figure 1 shows
the left VDC spectra for the TDCs for the four chambers during a
cosmics run. Most of the events show up around 1700 or below, but
there is a small secondary peak near 2200.
On the other hand with beam, we see a completely different situation.
The peak near 2200 becomes greatly enhanced with beam, but there is
still a fairly large peak near 1700. This second peak structure is
also seen in the scintillator and Cerenkov TDC spectra.
I have never seen this type of behavior with a single trigger before.
Both runs were taken with only T1, which is the coincidence between the
S1 and S2m scintillator planes.
