    The Shift Crew: Sarah K. Phillips, shift leader
    Matt Posik, target wrangler
    Dian Cheng, data master until 8:00pm
    Paul King, data master from 8pm-midnight.

    Special Guest Appearances by:

    Mark Dalton, conversationalist
    R. Subedi, online analysis expert
    Alexandre Camsonne, Compton expert
    Xiaochao Zheng, spokeswoman and bringer of food

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

    Highlights:

    16:00 - 17:45 -> Recovery from Compton tuning
    17:45 - 22:00 -> Production running
    22:00 - 22:40 -> Low current running with the VDCs while Alex does a
    Compton test (at 1.5 muA)
    22:40 - 24:00 -> Production running

    The Run Plan:

    1. Production Running
    2. More production running

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

    The Run Down

    16:00 - Shift starts off with us recovering from Compton tuning to go
    back to production running. We are following the beam recovery
    procedure, which takes a little while. We also didn't have a target
    operator or a shift leader, so Sarah got drafted as shift leader, and
    Matt Posik was drafted as target operator, with Dian Cheng taking over
    the data-taking position.

    16:25 - Harp scans done, moving target to do spot++ runs.

    16:55 - First spot++ looks like the raster is 2x2mm. We proceed through
    the list.

    17:30 - Beam recovery finishing up; accelerator is having a little
    trouble getting up to 100 muA without lots of trips.

    17:55 - R. Subedi sets the prescales for the spectrometer DAQ and we go
    to production running.

    20:00 - Shift checklist done, so Seamus should be happy!

    20:02 - EB3 crashes on left HRS DAQ at the end of run 25456, so CODA is
    rebooted

    20:09 - Paul arrives! His plane finally made it! Yay!

    20:30 - We raise the event limit on the right spectrometer CODA DAQ from
    5M to 5.7M so that it would quit stopping before the parity DAQ.

    22:00 - We go to low current (1.5 muA) so that Alexandre can do some
    Compton tests. We are taking advantage of the low current running to
    turn on the VDCs and take some data with them.

    22:40 - Ended the low current runs and started ramping down the VDCs.
    The Compton IOC crashed, so Alex reboots it so that he can move his detector.

    22:50 - Back to production running!

    24:00 - Shifts ends with production running.
