Highlights
- Smooth data taking.
- Started slug 3 (IHWP OUT) at 11 am.
Timeline
- 8:00- starting data taking with runs 13945(parity),25470(left),
5021(rigth)in progress. The beam is tripping a lot.
- 8:25- MCC is going to send some tune beam.
- 8:45 experiencing a ROC crash, Ramesh is helping out
- 9:00- MCC calls and say that 90uA (instead of 100uA) would help, we
agree to take that while they are contacting their experts.
- 9:17 - MCC found a bad magnet power supply in the east arc, power
cycle it and brought us back to 100 uA.
<9:23>Ramesh beats the parity DAQ. We are taking run 13947 (parity),
25471 (left), 5022 (right).
- 10:54: change HWP from IN to OUT. Flipper was run. We started slug 3.
Previous slug (hwp in), run 13390 to 13947: 1.202 M good pairs.
- 11:34: HV Channel 10 of Card 14 drop down and creates an alarm. It
will not come up. We are not quite sure of what this one does but it
looks like it is a Compton realetd HV so we leave it off. Later Alex
Camsonne identify this channel as a halo and advise us to leave it off.
- 11:45: some confusion concerning the status of bpm12. We ran MCC
from the desaturation procedure and also quit panguin and restarted it.
The problem seems to be solved.
- noon: more troubles with the spectrometer DAQ, Ramesh is helping and
fixed them.
- 13:25: beam off for 5 minutes in order for hall B to check the amount
of bleed throught from A to B. N result yet.
- 14:55: it's about time for the daily PVDIS meeting, food is brought
is large amount. I think we should be ok with food for an other day (week?).
- 15:15: Rakitha does the shift check list: things look fine
