While undoing a strap holding some polyethylene to the supply I heard a loud "pop", and the magnet had dumped. Ed, Heidi and I looked over the entire interior of the supply. We did not see any indication of damage to any components. Perhaps the unusual sound was only an acoustic effect. The solenoids that hold the output contactors closed had similar current through them, and they seemed to be holding OK. I replaced the control board on the Left Q1 supply. The supply dumped again. Looking into things some more it seemed like the leadflows might be a bit low. They seemed to be lower than where we had marked the preferred rate on the side of the rotameters. The increase in the flow rates might do the trick. Unfortunately the replacement control board did not have the correct setting for interpreting the polarity bit readback. This is a programmable setting. For the time being the readback is opposite of what the polarity actually is. As soon as possible we will get that corrected.
