16:00 At the beginning of the shift MCC was doing HARP scan.
16:03 MCC finished with harp scan. Results are:
HARP-A sigma(x/y): 243/142
HARP-B sigma(x/y): 245/107
16:08 MOved to BeO
16:10 Requested for 2uA beam with no Raster
16:14 We checked the position of the beam spot on the camera.
Beam seems to be in correct position.
16:15 Moved target to LD2 target. Asked MCC to turn the raster
on to 6x6MCC
16:24 Target is in place, asked for 2uA beam with raster 6x6MCC
Target is LD2
16:30 Did the Spot++ with 2uA. Spot looks fine. Spot++ run is
#26125
16:31 Asked for 105uA beam with raster 6x6MCC. Want to start with
the production.
16:40 Did Spot++ check for the first production run #26126. Spot
looks ok. Beam positions are also OK.
18:30 Asked MCC to mask target motion, so that we can move target
multifoil 12C target. We are going to do optics runs.
We also turned the raster OFF.
18:35 We are at multifoil 12C target. We are going to take T1
runs only.
18:38 Turning the VDC chambers ON.
18:43 VDC chambers are ON! Taking runs #26128/#5640 on
multifoil 12C target with 10uA beam, no raster.
18:52 Asked MCC to turn the raster back on to 6x6mMCC
18:54 Taking runs #26129/#5641 on multifoil 12C target with 10uA
beam, (6x6)MCC raster. Did the spot++ check. Spot size
looks fine :)
19:04 Asked MCC to mask the tar. motion so that we can go to
Single carbon target. Also asked MCC to turn the raster OFF.
19:06 Taregt is in single carbon foil position.
19:17 The T1 rate was low with 10uA beam (T1 rate was 330Hz).
Therefore we increased the current to 25uA. Now T1
rate is 900Hz
19:23 Asked MCC to turn the raster ON to (6x6MCC)
19:30 Taking runs #26131/#5643 on Single foil 12C target with
25uA beam, (6x6)MCC raster. Did the spot++ check. Spot size
looks fine :)
19:33 Asked MCC to mask the target motion so that we can move our
target to Al Dummy.
19:36 Target is in Dummy position. Asked for 10uA beam. Rates for
T1 look fine. T1 is approx 1kHz.
19:37 Taking runs #26132/#5644 on Al-Dummy target with 10uA beam,
(6x6)MCC raster. Did the spot++ check. Spot size looks fine.
19:49 Turning off the VDCs.
19:57 VDCs are OFF. We asked for 50uA beam to do High current
optics measurement on Aluminum.
20:02 Taking runs #26134/#5646 on Al-Dummy target with 50uA beam,
(6x6)MCC raster. Did the spot++ check. Spot size looks fine.
VDCs are OFF.
22:00 MCC called and reported that they have problems with two
Cryo modules and then need 10 or 15 minutes to bring them back
up. We decided to stop our current runs.
22:40 We received call from MCC reporting that there were also some
other modules that have problems and they need to be recovered.
Consequently they will be down for a while. They explained to
us that they are calling experts in and when they arrive, they
will let us know, how long is "a while".
23:58 Moving the target to Empty. Turning the raster off.
