    keyword=CompSimple Tests finished, cleanup

    The CompSimple DAQ tests for Compton have been finished.
    We used pulsers to simulate coincidences and a high-rate random
    pulse from a PMT to mix in randoms (see fig 1). The timestamp
    data mostly makes sense, except there are some spurious zeros
    in the ETROC and there are some "large times" not shown in the
    figure 2 (what's there are the "normal times"). This is not
    completely understood yet. Nevertheless, plotting the time
    difference we see coincidences (bottom right plot of fig 2).
    Note: The reason for the spikes is clearly understood -- there
    are about 10 coinc. events per helicity period, and they are not
    randomly distributed in time. This causes the spikes away
    from zero.

    Tomorrow (Sat) afternoon we will dismantle this setup and restore
    the "std" DAQ setup. Mindy wants to take a few more long runs and
    then we are done.
