keyword=GEM Hit CorrelationsThe two INFN chambers were set up in the hall with an x and y readout on each plane triggered by a scintillator bar larger than the chamber dimensions. The run for this configuration is 26628.
We're able to see correlation between the coordinate readouts on the two planes (Fig 1,2). The average number of read out hits on each plane right now is about 70, so to sort out some of the noise I put a cut on the ADC value > 500 where the signal seems to live (Fig 3).
For ROC 6, the map for the planes are:
x1: slot 1, chan 0-239 y1: slot 1, chan 240-479 x2: slot 2, chan 240-479 y2: slot 2, chan 0-239
For the replay, I just used Ole's software he provided yesterday. It lives in
/adaqfs/home/ole/TreeSearch-GEM/
checkout.C, libTreeSearch-GEM.so, and the databases in there are required
for replay.
