    keyword=Centering beam on Pb target

Centering the beam on the Lead / Diamond target #3 (bottom)

    Changed raster to 10 x 4.8 (MCC units) ... nominal 4x4 (obs)
    which is 5.4 x 11.1 amps.

Rates reduce from 14 kHz to 10 kHz

    Run 26983 ... looks clean (fig 1).

Next, return to (0,0) and start a scan

    MCZ1H04H.BDL -3800
    MCZ1H04V.BDL 12.4

Run 26984 for the above. Not hitting frame here.

    ---------------------------------------------

    Next go to (0,-3)
    MCZ1H04H.BDL -3800
    MCZ1H04V.BDL -1907

Run 26985 for the above. ~1/2 pattern is hitting frame !

    ----------------------------------------------

    Next go to (0, +3)
    MCZ1H04H.BDL -3800
    MCZ1H04V.BDL 1932

Run 26986 for the above. Not hitting frame.

    ----------------------------------------------

    Next go to (+3, 0)
    MCZ1H04H.BDL -2100
    MCZ1H04V.BDL 12.4

Run 26987. Good. Not hitting frame.

    ----------------------------------------------

    Next go to (-3, 0)
    MCZ1H04H.BDL -5500
    MCZ1H04V.BDL 12.4

Run 26988. Good. Not hitting frame.

    ----------------------------------------------

    Return to (0,0)
    MCZ1H04H.BDL -3800
    MCZ1H04V.BDL 12.4

Run 26989 .... Not hitting frame.

    ----------------------------------------------

    The centered position is approx x,y = 0, +2.
So we go to V = +1290 (as it is 640 clicks per mm).

    MCZ1H04H.BDL -3800
    MCZ1H04V.BDL 1290

    Run 26990 .... looks good ... see fig 2

    Conclusion: x,y = 0,+2is reasonably centered and
we are not hitting frame. The target is a little
off (~2 mm) in vertical; perhaps the lifter
    can be adjusted.

    Recall, the copper hole is 3/4" x 1/2" (H x V)
which is 19 x 12.7 mm in size. Bigger in horizontal
    to accomodate the target "swing".
