    Optics Runs for Tune B

    Conditions :

    Tantalum target
    Raster Off
    Sieve slits in
    trigger T1 and T5 used on both HRS.
    T1 = S0 A.and.B
    T5 = upper scint

    Initially P0 = 1.036. Septum remains 729 A setpoint throughout.

    0:35 .... Ask for 2 uA

    Rates at 2 uA

    Left HRS
    T1 = 38 kHz
    T5 = 54 kHz

    Right HRS
    T1 = 68 kHz
    T5 = 100 kHz

    A note: Quads Q2 and Q3 were cycled earlier.
    Septum has been "cycled" too (ramp to 800 then to 729)

    0:40 ... Ask for 1 uA. (Better for VDCs)
    Rates drop by factor of 2.

    Runs 27240 / 6558 .... P0 = 1.063

    Since we're going up in P0 next, we cycle Q2 and Q3.

    Runs 27241 / 6559 .... P0 = 1.068 .... septum remains 729 A (set point)

    Runs 27242 / 6560 .... P0 = 1.058 ..... waited long time for R-HRS to settle.

    02:04 .... Noticed the R-HRS has a lot of "T7". Oops, ps7=10.
    Whatever T7 is, it makes tracks and is mostly on near X=0,
    perhaps a quartz detector. Warning: can cause mysterious shoulders.

    Percentages of T7 were
    run 6558 ... 3.9 %
    run 6559 ... 0.5 %
    run 6560 ... 58 % (sorry)

    Putting ps7=65535 now.

    Runs 27243 / 6561 .... P0 = 1.053
    6562 is a repeat of same condition

    Runs 27244 / 6563 .... P0 = 1.048

    A note: When we started at P0 = 1.063 we had our usual 2:1 rate
    asy for R:L-HRS. It's not due to clock. But now at P0=1.48 and
    the previous P0 the asy has vanished.

    L-HRS T1 = 25 kHz, T5 = 13 kHz
    R-HRS T1 = 32 kHz, T5 = 13 kHz

    Runs 27245 / 6564 .... P0 = 1.043

    Fig 1 -- quality control check for P0 = 1.063 runs.
    All runs checked.
