I had a mistake in my projection algorithm which gave an incorrect detector plane x distribution. Here is the plot after fixing this problem.

Now the drop off at -0.14m is crisp (just like the Larm). Note that this bug did not affect the alignment quality, and the y distributions did not have this mistake.
