    keyword=Compton photon detector lead hut

    We have successfully build a lead hut enclosing the Compton photon detector (on four sides). There are at least 2in of lead around the GSO and PMT, although there is no lead directly upstream or downstream of the detector.

    The lead hut is tall, and the photon detector table can now not be moved above y=44mm without colliding with the electron detector table. This is very important, and a software limit will be added to the GUI soon.

    The table also appears to have sunk a little bit (although it still moves fine), and the new GSO centered position (as seen by looking at the collimator and the pointer) is y=43mm (the old position was y=41.3mm).
